Here at SSH, we specialize in building a solid foundation. We believe strongly in the human-animal bond. We use gentle hands techniques for ground work, games, in-hand training, long lining, lunging, and round pen work. We promote a trusting, willing, and forward temperament. Horses are started under saddle after age 3. Our youngsters learn to hack out quietly and safely- alone and in a group- with plenty of exposure to traffic, wildlife, and a variety of challenging terrain. As four year olds, they start basic ring work and are advertised for sale- ready for the career of your choice!
